Where should I start?

Visit the Kids Zone for a first adventure, browse all games, or follow a question in the learning hub.

Are the games free? Do I need an account?

The games and learning activities are free. No account is needed. Eggs are earned by playing and reading, and cannot be bought with money.

Where is my turtle progress saved?

Why didn’t I earn more eggs?

Short activities have daily limits, and article quizzes award eggs once per quiz. Archived daily puzzles do not award eggs. My Turtle explains what you can still earn.

Can I pause?

The Full Journey and Coral Weave have a pause button. Their keyboard shortcut is P or Escape. You can explore the learning pages at your own pace.

Is a turtle the same as a tortoise?

A tortoise is a type of turtle adapted to life on land. This site focuses on sea turtles. Read our turtle and tortoise guide.

Can I use this in class?

How can I check a fact or report a problem?
